It clarifies the teams’ schedule sufferings due to the special events at its arenas. Making room for the Grammys for LA teams, Circus for Chicago Bulls (Circus Trip), “Stock Show & Rodeo” for the Spurs (Rodeo Trip) are amongst well known events which force the teams to take extended road trips.
What we also understand that long road trips tend to decline in the second half of the season.
